In 2002, Iroghama proudly graduated from Chrisland College, setting the stage for her remarkable journey. While initially pursuing Medicine at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, she followed her passion for Biology and Psychology, completing her undergraduate studies in 2007. Additionally, she obtained a Masters in Public Health from the prestigious Brunel University in London and proudly carries the distinction of being an alumna of the esteemed Harvard Business School.
During a holiday visit to Nigeria in 2010, Iroghama established Hairven Limited, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit. Her tenacity and business acumen led her to emerge as the winner of the inaugural edition of "The Next Titan," a reality show by MTN, in 2013. Notably, she is one of two Chrisland alumni who have claimed victory in this prestigious entrepreneurial competition. In 2014, Iroghama's expertise drew the attention of a consultancy firm, leading to her appointment in an executive capacity at Starzs Investments Company Limited (SICL). She officially assumed the role of Executive Director and later became the Chief Operating Officer for SICL, a renowned ship-owning and marine logistics provider serving international oil companies. In February 2021, she ascended to the position of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, further solidifying her leadership role within the company. Recognized for her exemplary skills and vision, Iroghama was elected as the Chairman of the Finance and Membership Committee of the Shipowners Association of Nigeria (SOAN) in 2019. Her appointment as the first woman to hold this position in the association's history reflects her dedication and trailblazing spirit. Furthermore, she serves as a Director of Eaglewatch Security Company and is a valued member of the Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoD). Iroghama Ogbeifun is also the elder sister of Efosa Ogbeifun, another esteemed Chrisland alumnus who excels as a naval architect, exemplifying the shared commitment to success within their family. Through her entrepreneurial ventures, leadership roles, and advocacy, Iroghama continues to shine a light, inspiring others in the fields of entrepreneurship and business. |
