Foundation Stage
Nurturing Young Minds for a Bright Future |
At Chrisland Schools, our Nursery School is known as the Foundation Stage, where we provide a comprehensive and integrated curriculum. Combining the best elements of the British, Montessori, and Nigerian curricula, we offer five classes to cater to the developmental needs of our young learners:

Individualised LearningEarly Academic Intervention Programme |
With our one-on-one teaching approach, we recognise that each child has their own pace of learning. Our professional Early Year educators ensure that all pupils not only meet but surpass the average class targets. We have an Early Academic Intervention Programme to provide support to children facing academic challenges, ensuring that no child is left behind.
At Chrisland, our strength lies in our team of professional and experienced Early Year educators, who are well-versed in the Montessori approach. Modern facilities and educational resources create a conducive and safe learning environment. Our pupils start reading at the age of three, and we take pride in producing confident, happy, intelligent, and brilliant children. |
Fostering Holistic Development |
We believe in holistic education, and our pupils engage in various activities and competitions, including Spelling Bee, Debate, Chess, Scrabble, and club activities such as Sun Beam, Eaglet, Red Cross, French, Science, Art, and Music clubs. They also participate in extracurricular activities like dance, ballet, gymnastics, and taekwondo, and enjoy scheme-based field trips or excursions.
At Chrisland, we prioritise our educators' continuous training and development, ensuring they deliver quality education. Our students engage in role play and modelling, becoming safety ambassadors, and in Reception Two, they work on exciting projects, such as producing their own book titled 'My Favourite Rhyme Book.' |
