Dr. Adeayo Olubunmi Sotayo, a proud alumnus of Chrisland College, has established himself as a prominent figure in the fields of engineering, education, and human development.
After graduating from Chrisland College in 2009, Dr. Sotayo pursued his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Liverpool, where he achieved a remarkable First Class degree. His outstanding academic performance earned him prestigious accolades, including the Institute of Mechanical Engineers' Best Student Award and the Norbury Medal for Best Student at the University of Liverpool. Distinguished by his exceptional achievements, Dr. Sotayo embarked on a doctorate degree without the customary requirement of obtaining a Master's degree. In 2017, he successfully completed his doctoral studies, further cementing his expertise in the field. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Sotayo's research and contributions have garnered recognition and acclaim. His remarkable accomplishments include receiving the Stack Award for Personal Development, the Vice-Chancellor Attainment Scholarship for Academic Excellence, and the International Student Award at the University of Liverpool. In 2018, he was honored by the Association of British Turkish Academics (ABTA) for his exceptional research in Engineering.
