Chrisland Student Emerges Best 2023 WAEC Candidate in Lagos State

Mbaraonye Ncheta Evans of Chrisland High School VGC has won the Sidmach Prize after emerging as the overall best candidate in the May/June 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Lagos State.

The award was presented today at the 2024 Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) Lagos IT Conference and Awards. 

Evans was the Deputy Head Boy of Chrisland High School VGC. 

He followed the footsteps of three alumni of Chrisland High School VGC; Damilola Bolarin the third overall best candidate in WASSCE 2015 in Lagos State, Michelle Adeagbo, who was the second overall best and best female candidate in WASSCE 2018 in Nigeria and also Kasim Haneefa, the second overall best candidate in WASSCE 2020 in Lagos State.
