Ololade Naomi Olayinka of Chrisland High School, Ikeja, has been honoured with the British Council Outstanding Cambridge Learners Award for emerging Top in the World in English as a Second Language (Speaking Endorsement) at the 2024 Cambridge IGCSE examinations! This remarkable achievement reaffirms our unwavering commitment to nurturing brilliance and setting global standards at Chrisland Schools. But this is not our first time making history. In 2023, Mmesomachukwu Okonkwo of Chrisland High School VGC, and Oluwabukolami Adeyemi of Chrisland Pre-Degree College were both recognised by the British Council as Top in the World in English as a Second Language and Law, respectively. Going further back to 2018, Chinaza Adaeze of Chrisland College Idimu earned global recognition as Top in the World in Cambridge IGCSE Agriculture. Chibundom began her academic journey at Chrisland School Opebi (2009–2015), where her leadership qualities and grace quickly stood out. She rose to become the Head Girl, setting a strong foundation for future success. At Chrisland College Idimu, her brilliance continued to shine as she earned the role of Assistant Head Girl, distinguishing herself as a top scholar and leader. During her stay at CCI, she distinguished herself as an exceptionally gifted learner, winning several laurels for the school. Ms Mgbeokwere, graduated in 2021 as the Valedictorian in her set. Similarly, she also had the best WASSCE result of her set. Reflecting on her journey, Chibundom shared: “Chrisland School provided me with the all-round education and exposure I needed to thrive. It equipped me with the skills to balance my interests— engaging in leadership initiatives, and actively participating in co-curricular activities. It’s more than a value; it’s embedded in our DNA, guiding everything we do and shaping who our alumni become. On #Alumni Spotlight, we proudly celebrate Nnemdi Emmanuella Osadunkwu, a shining example of what it means to live the Chrisland legacy. Emmanuella began her academic journey with us at Chrisland School Ladipo Oluwole, Ikeja (2009–2014) and continued through Chrisland High School, Ikeja, graduating in 2021. A well-rounded learner, she excelled not just academically but also in leadership and extracurricular activities — notably serving as the Library Prefect. Building on her strong Chrisland foundation, Emmanuella soared even higher. In 2025, she graduated with First Class Honours in Neuroscience from the University of Alberta, Canada, earning a prestigious Science Silver Medal of Honor.
